I've been doing some work with next.js and that experience has made me want to check out sveltekit.

It's been very hot in the past couple of weeks. I was thinking earlier about the Trolls in the discworld series of books, where their cognitive abilities are proportional to how cold their brains get... That's how I've felt this week - and it's been warm.

So, I mentioned in the previous post where I made a tic-tac-toe game, that I made some choices that I thought were interesting and that I might write some things about those choices. So here we go!

In the last 2 days I've started to feel better. I'm busy with some other work now so I've had to take a step back from my musing and tinkering here... So this is just a little update for my own benefit.

Well... I'm still not well. It's approaching 3 weeks and my consistent cough is at least shifting form again away from rattly chesty discomfort to something on the drier side. Great. I've spent a lot of time doing nothing, and I'm tired of it. So perhaps today things can happen again.

I've had a horrible hacking cough for the past week. But that didn't stop me going skiing and hiking in Switzerland, so why should it stop me from doing some nonsense here?

We did some more research yesterday and started defining the drum machine's layout and node graph.

Yesterday I decided to make a drum machine. Hopefully this component will become part of the site's 404 page. Let's get to building.

Yesterday I decided I would finish fixing the blog's article sorting... But I just don't feel like doing that today. I have a different idea, and right now I want to pursue that creative impulse.

The thoughts and things index page has been displaying those thoughts and things in chronological order... That would make sense if you were reading my thoughts from start to end like a book. But perhaps you just want to know the most recent nugget of knowledge I've imparted. Let's fix that.

Checking out a previous post containing code blocks on my phone I realised there was a lot of overflow happening. Let's fix that.

I was just enjoying my BSL lesson... Trying to take some notes in my Obsidian vault. I put my phone down on the side of my chair for a moment. It slipped off. Falling a whole 45cm onto the carpetted floor. Dramatically bonking down and turning off. It never turned back on.

Started the day by fixing a handful of bugs on the site, mostly around styling...

Actually making progress improving this blog section. More focussed on improving functionality and understanding the Nuxt Content module than researching stuff today.

Today I kept a sort of stream of consciousness flow to writing about the things I was reading about. It's pretty chaotic, but I learnt quite a lot and covered a lot of ground.

My intention here is mostly to try and document / link out to other useful articles that I come across in my day-to-day.
